Romance
from Amazon.com: "Bridgerton meets Gossip Girl with a dash of Jane Austen, in Reputation, a Regency-era historical romantic comedy with a deliciously feminist twist, from a hilarious new British voice, Lex Croucher."
Apparently the third in a series, so I will have to track down the first two before I get to this one. But, what intrigued me about this was the description from Christie Ridgway which says, "Waters' prose harkens back to foundational Regency romance author Georgette Heyer..." Having recently read all of Heyer's regency novels that I could get my hands on I am eager to read more like that.
Literary fiction
Isn't this cover pretty?
from Amazon.com: "...a novel of art, time travel, love, and plague that takes the reader from Vancouver Island in 1912 to a dark colony on the moon five hundred years later, unfurling a story of humanity across centuries and space."
Lifestyle
The first of two points of favor for this book: a pretty cover. The second is the first name of the author. I have been loving design books since we moved since I finally have a home I can make my own.
