Since my bulletin board displays are the most popular posts on here I thought I'd share this one from my student teaching days. it's my first ever bulletin board!
The words were printed on regular copy paper, cut and laminated. Hence the shiny reflections. But this was done so they could be reused year after year.
Here is the finished project. It was a great idea, I wasn't 100% happy with the finished product. There's a lot of fantasy fiction among the titles listed. And the whole thing is just really busy, but I really like the idea.
Here is a display I did for a FACS (family and consumer sciences) teacher. Check out my extremely clever title: Cooking by the Books!

Presentation of Dewey Word Clouds
I wanted a record of some of the products I worked on with students. So this post is an attempt to show anyone (who cares to see) one example. What will hopefully be shown in the presentation are the images of word clouds that 5th grade students created in pairs or groups of three. The words they chose were descriptions of the books found within a certain category of the Dewey Decimal System. I briefly showed in a previous post just one example (or two?). Here you will see all of them - the good, the bad, and the ugly (sorry kids!).
